Fairwind Keep, named after the heavy keep in the pass between this valley and Leffar's Gate, has a significant forest growing in the valley. The Starfall River coupled with the rainfall from the clouds that roll in from the east have given the valley an abundant source of water. The forest grows heavy and thick, with tangled underbrush. The valley is home to a number of rare plants that don't grow anywhere else. Some have found medical uses, but the valley itself has been rarely explored. Fairwind Keep boasts the highest population for both wolves and boars in the Valhain valley chain, which makes exploring and hunting more dangerous than other places. Most travel through the valley follows the river, but some travel does take place between Leffar's Gate and Harvale directly. Fairwind Keep connects to Leffar's Gate, Arandale, and Harvale.
