[BozeMUG] Hello.

This is great! I promise none of you will remember me - and honestly
I don't remember much of Bozeman either at this point. I used to live
in Bozeman back in the early-mid 90s and was way into Macs etc. I've
since moved to Whitefish where I'm employed by the Big Mountain Ski
Resort as their "webmaster" (not graphic designer mind you - just
coder... wait until you see the nasty "blue" site linked below and
you'll know what I mean). I even convinced them to let me work on a
Mac and they got me a dual-G5 tower when I started there a couple
years ago. Fun. I code with PHP and MySQL almost exclusively.
Dabbling in Ajax and Ruby these days just to try and keep up with the
times. I also use and develop with Ubuntu linux, which I might add
runs superbly on old first generation iMacs ("it's alive!") and is at
least as easy to use as Tiger. :-)

Anyhow, I can't remember how I stumbled upon this list a few months
back, but I'm glad I did. I remember the "santa lady" and Keith and
that guy that used to work for the Chronicle and the guy that did
video projects (who I helped do sound for on an Access Hollywood show
on Margot Kidder going nuts in Livingston), but I'm so bad with
names... I apologize profoundly. I also (very rarely) am in contact
with Josh Reynolds, who seems to be doing great with J-Tech still and
as far as I know they still use Macs a lot.

So "hello" from Whitefish. Hope all is well in Bozeman. My (perfect,
beautiful, soulmate etc.) girlfriend just moved to Bozeman two weeks
ago to attend MSU for awhile. I'll miss her sorely and she is missing
Whitefish deeply, but I passed on many a fun story to help ease her
transition. I hear things have grown dramatically in the last ten
years. Would like to see for myself someday "soon".

Thanks for the nostalgia etc. :-)
